Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Jijivisha Healing, we value your time, trust, and commitment to your healing journey. Our policies are designed to ensure clarity, mutual respect, and fairness for both clients and practitioners.

By booking a session, program, or workshop, you agree to the following cancellation and refund terms.

1. Individual Therapy and Counselling Sessions

  • Cancellations:
    • Clients may cancel or reschedule an individual session at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment without any penalty.
    • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session time will be considered short-notice cancellations and will not be eligible for a refund.
    • This policy ensures that the time reserved for you can be offered to another client in need.
  • No-shows:
    • If a client fails to attend the session without prior notice, the session will be marked as a no-show.
    • If you are more than 20 minutes late to a session without prior notice, the session may be considered as a no-show and charged in full.
    • The full session fee will be charged, and no refund or rescheduling will be provided.
  • Rescheduling:
    • If the client cancels in the 24-hour window prior to the appointment time, there will be no reimbursement, but the client will be able to request a slot on a different date within 24 hours of cancellation. If not done in 24 hours after cancellation, the session will be considered attended and charged in full.
    • You may reschedule your session once without penalty, provided it is done 24 hours before the appointment.
    • No rescheduling will be entertained in the 24 hours window before the appointment.
    • Repeated last-minute changes may result in refusal of future reschedules or bookings.
  • Therapist Cancellations:
    • Jijivisha Healing reserves the right to cancel or reschedule your session (including replacing therapist or changing time) with reasonable notice. In such case, you will be offered an alternative time or full refund of any fee paid for that session.
    • In rare circumstances, if your therapist needs to reschedule or cancel a session due to unforeseen reasons (illness, emergencies, etc.), you will be notified at the earliest opportunity.
    • If your session is cancelled by Jijivisha Healing, you will receive either an option for rescheduling or full refund of the fee paid for that session. Fees paid for past sessions or services already delivered cannot be refunded.

2. Group Therapy and Support Circles

  • Cancellations by Clients:
    • Cancellations made 5 or more days prior to the scheduled group session are eligible for a partial refund.
    • Cancellations made within 72 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable.
    • No refunds will be issued for partial attendance or missed sessions once the group has commenced.
  • Cancellations by Jijivisha Healing:
    • If a group session is cancelled or rescheduled due to facilitator unavailability or insufficient registrations, participants will receive either:
      • A full refund, or
      • An option to transfer the fee to the next available group program.

3. Workshops, Retreats, and Training Programs

  • Registration and Deposits:
    • Workshop and retreat registrations often require a non-refundable deposit to secure your spot, as seats are limited.
    • The deposit amount and total program fee will be clearly mentioned during registration.
  • Cancellations by Participants:
    • Cancellations made at least 14 days before the start date are eligible for a refund of 50% of the total amount minus the non-refundable deposit and administrative fees.
    • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event or no-shows are non-refundable.
  • Transfer Policy:
    • You may request to transfer your registration to another person or future event (if available) at least 14 days before the scheduled program.
    • Transfers are subject to approval and availability.
  • Cancellations by Jijivisha Healing:
    • In the event that Jijivisha Healing must cancel or postpone a workshop or retreat (due to illness, unforeseen circumstances, or insufficient enrollments):
      • Participants will receive a full refund or
      • May choose to transfer the amount to a future program of equal value.
    • Jijivisha Healing will not be responsible for reimbursement of additional costs (e.g., travel, accommodation) incurred by participants.

4. Refund Processing

  • Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 7–10 business days through the same payment method used for the original transaction.
  • Bank or payment gateway processing times may affect the final crediting of funds.
  • Administrative fees or non-refundable deposits (where applicable) will be deducted from the total refund amount.

5. Emergency Exceptions

  • Jijivisha Healing understands that genuine emergencies may occur (e.g., sudden illness, family emergency).
  • In such cases, clients are encouraged to contact us at the earliest possible time.
  • Refunds or reschedules under exceptional circumstances are at the discretion of the therapist or management, ensuring fairness and compassion.
  • Refunds will not be given in situations that are out of human control, such as Force Majeure Acts of God, natural catastrophes, pandemics of any type, including COVID-19, or other unforeseeable events that are outside of the organization’s reasonable control.

6. Refunds for Technical Issues (Online Sessions)

  • If a session cannot be completed due to technical issues on our side (e.g., platform failure, power outage), the session will be rescheduled or refunded in full.
  • If technical issues arise on the client’s side (e.g., unstable internet), the session will not qualify for a refund but may be rescheduled at a reduced charge at the therapist’s discretion.
